The gross annual salary for the jobs available in the public hospitals from the UK is between £37,817 (50,000 Eur) and £100,446 (132,000 Eur). The Registrar posts available in the Irish public hospitals are remunerated with monthly salaries starting from 3,500 Eur.

Hi Eugenio,

Thank you for the question.

The after-taxes salary for the regular RMO jobs is 1,625 GBP per worked week and is paid monthly. So for 2 weeks of work per month, you will earn around 4,200 EUR.

The doctors who have at least 6 months of experience in Anaesthesia or Paediatrics besides the minimum 2 years required for the regular RMO posts can earn 2,225 GBP per week worked (paid monthly). These Anaesthetic or Paediatric RMOs have higher requirements and expectations so the pay has been increased to reflect this.
